Kicking of SXSW Interactive today, President Obama talked about a range of issues but the most important to us was the minute he spent talking about the importance of diapers. He told the audience about a new collaboration whereby non-profits can save 25% on bulk purchases of diapers so they can distribute them to low-income families. While the government gathered the parties at the table, it's not a government program. Rather, "it's a convergence of diaper makers and logistics companies and internet companies," he said. He concluded by urging Americans to step up, no matter what their interests, passions or concerns were, because the country needs everyone's involvement. Kudos Mr. President and thank you!
