What YOU Can Do to Directly Help Those In Need This Holiday Season

I'd like to share with you some easy ways to directly give to your neighbors in need this holiday season. Austin Diaper Bank is merely a conduit for your generosity. Diapers come in from the community and we provide them to the people who need them. The costs of running our organization are simple but necessary: rent, modest salary, office and distribution supplies etc.

YOU can help babies and seniors by choosing one or more of the following easy ways:

1. Donate funds. These contributions are tax-deductible. Our tax ID is 80-0931841. More info here.

2. Donate diapers. Nearly 100% of the diapers we provide are donated. We are an outlet for people who want to put their unneeded diapers to good use or make a quick purchase to do a good deed. More info here.

3. Host a diaper drive. Want to quadruple (or more) your impact? Hold a diaper drive at your school, workplace, church, social club, holiday party, wherever. Just like a canned food drive, anyone can collect diapers and then donate them. More info here.

4. Volunteer at the diaper bank. We are lucky to have most of our volunteer opportunities fill up but you can always schedule a time for your group to come volunteer. The critical work of the diaper bank is to inventory diapers and bundle them for distribution. That means many hands are needed. More info here.

Giving locally to a cause that is transparent and where you can see exactly where your money is going should be an important factor in your charitable donations. We hope to be your non-profit organization of choice this holiday season.
