Numbers don't lie

U.S. Census Bureau (USCB) reported that in 2012, there were 842,592 people in Austin proper.  Of those, 7.3% are under five years of age (or 61,509 total).  According to the USCB, 29% of Austin's children live in poverty.

Assuming that poverty is equally and not disproportionately represented for the under five age group and that only 2/3 of the under five age group is in diapers, that means nearly 12 thousand Austin babies and toddlers are likely in a diaper need situation.

12,000 babies and toddlers in our city can use your help.
